Statistics reveal that cancer affects a significant portion of the population, with various types posing a threat to both men and women. For instance, one in eight women and one in nine men will be diagnosed with some form of cancer in their lifetime. According to the American Cancer Society's data for 2023, an estimated 1.9 million new cancer cases will be diagnosed, affecting both genders. Furthermore, approximately 3.8 million cancer survivors are currently living in the US, underscoring the importance of ongoing support and awareness initiatives. It's vital to recognize that cancer remains a formidable foe, with an estimated 609,640 individuals projected to succumb to the disease in 2023 in the United States alone.

Hope and kindness hold significant value. Your contributions have the potential to supply Essential Gift Bags and additional services to individuals facing cancer in the southeastern Minnesota region. These gift bags are distributed to those recently diagnosed with cancer. Donations also contribute to organizing services and events for cancer survivors. Exceptions may be considered based on the discretion of the Board of Directors.
